A drinks brand is launching a new product with a marketing microsite. The site is plain HTML, CSS, JavaScript and images, rebuilt by the agency whenever the copy changes, with no server-side code at all. Launch-day television adverts will send visitors from across Europe and Asia within minutes, so pages must load quickly far from any one Region and the site must not fall over under a sudden burst. It has to be served over HTTPS on the brand's own domain, and the marketing team wants the monthly bill to be close to nothing on quiet days. Nobody on the team manages servers.
