Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Shubham Maurya, who runs PlayCloudLabs at https://playcloudlabs.com from Marathahalli, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or buying a plan or a bundle you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. What the service is

PlayCloudLabs is a practice tool for the AWS Solutions Architect exam. You read a scenario, build an architecture on a canvas, and get a score and a written review. It also lets you design your own systems and have them checked, and includes a library of common architectures. Separately, it offers the Learn library: a page about each AWS service, from the problem it solves to the exam questions about it.

PlayCloudLabs is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Amazon Web Services. AWS and the names of AWS services are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. Nothing here is official exam material, and we do not promise that using it will get you through any exam.

2. Your account

• Give accurate details, and keep your password to yourself.
• An account is for one person. Sharing it, or reselling access, is not allowed.
• You must be 18 or older, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account.

3. Plans and payment

• One challenge is free with an account.
• Everything else needs a plan: ₹999 for 3 months or ₹1,499 for 6 months, paid once, in Indian rupees, through Razorpay. The price shown is the price charged.
• The Learn library is free for everyone at the moment, in full, and nothing in it is being sold. If that changes, it changes for purchases made after it: nothing you have already paid for is affected.
• The Learn library is sold separately, as bundles, paid once, in Indian rupees, through Razorpay, at the price shown at checkout. A bundle opens the pages in the tiers it covers, including pages we add to those tiers later, for as long as we run that cloud’s library. It includes no AI checks. Moving to a bigger bundle costs the difference between the two.
• A combo is a plan and a bundle in one payment, for less than the two bought apart. Its plan and its bundle then work exactly as they would if bought on their own.
• Plans do not renew and you are never charged again automatically. Access runs to the date shown in the header of the site. Buying again adds to the time you have left.
• We may change prices for future purchases. A change never shortens access you have already paid for.
• Refunds are covered by the Refund & Cancellation policy.

4. Scores, AI reviews and daily limits

• Scores are calculated by fixed rules, the same way for everyone.
• Written reviews are produced by an AI model. They can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Use them to learn, and check anything important against AWS’s own documentation.
• A plan includes 5 AI checks a day, shared across scenario reviews and checks of your own designs. They reset at midnight, India time. We may change this limit and will say so on the site when we do.
• A plan also includes 10 new scenarios a month, written by an AI model and checked automatically before you see them. That allowance is separate from the daily checks, resets on the first of each month, India time, and does not carry over. Reviewing an answer to one of them uses a daily check like any other answer.

5. What you may not do

• Copy, publish, sell or share the scenarios, answers, reviews or shape library.
• Scrape the site, or access it by automated means.
• Try to get around the paywall, the daily limits or any security measure.
• Reverse engineer the service, or disrupt it for anyone else.
• Submit anything unlawful, or anything that is not yours to share.

6. Content

The scenarios, scoring rules, reviews, shape library, the Learn pages and the site itself belong to us. A plan or a bundle gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use what it opens while your access lasts: a plan’s until the date shown in the header, and a bundle’s for as long as we run its library.

Designs and descriptions you create stay yours. You allow us to store and process them to run the service — including sending them to our AI provider to write your review.

7. Availability and liability

We work to keep the service running, but it is provided as it is, and may sometimes be unavailable or change. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

8. Suspension and ending

You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. If we close the service entirely, we will refund the unused part of any plan. A Learn bundle is bought once and is not refunded, including if we close the service: it lasts for as long as we run its library, as section 3 says, and ends when we stop running it.

9. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction over any dispute.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we will email you about any change that affects what you have paid for.
